The Drop Times features Nneka in an article about Drupal GovCon
My journey with Drupal4Gov began in 2012. As a web developer, relatively new to Drupal, I was drawn to the free seminars and training sessions in which Drupal GovCon, known as Capital Camp back then, provided. I went from just attending to conducting training sessions to organizing volunteers and code contributions during the conference.
In 2013 and 2014, I served as a co-organizer for Drupal GovCon and a board member for Drupal4Gov. While it was the code that initially brought me to the community, it is the people and the connections I’ve made that keep me here.
I was excited and thrilled when The Drop Times interviewed me to discuss my community work, particularly my role in organizing Drupal GovCon.
Balancing Passion and Profession: Navigating Diverse Leadership Realms goes into the planning of Drupal GovCon, as well as discussing some of the unexpected successes and challenges encountered while planning a tech conference.
